Safran Sets Up Two Projects Via WB TV

Writer Josh Safran has set up a pair of small-screen projects via Warner Bros. TV, including a collaboration with McG.

At ABC, Safran has an untitled drama in the works about a twentysomething woman who, after initially resisting, decides to join the family business: the Secret Service. Safran will executive produce with McG via the latter’s WBTV-based Wonderland Sound & Vision.

At Fox, Safran has penned another hourlong drama, setting it up with WBTV-based Shepherd/Robin Productions (“Nip/Tuck”). Potential series has a sci-fi element, revolving around a pair of detectives who help clients go back in time to change what they most regret.

Safran will executive produce with Greer Shephard and Michael Robin. ABC and Fox both have made script commitments to the projects.
