The Witcher Season 3 Marketing Emphasizes That Henry Cavill Is Still in It

Recent marketing for Netflix’s The Witcher Season 3 seems to emphasize the fact that lead actor Henry Cavill is still playing Geralt in the current season.

Is Henry Cavill still in The Witcher Season 3?

The Witcher Season 3 stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, though the Man of Steel star is set to leave the series and be replaced by Liam Hemsworth in Season 4. The new marketing from Netflix features projected messages on various buildings and landscapes with text that says, “Yes. He’s still Geralt in Season 3. The Witcher.”

The series is being led by Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Princess Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, and Joey Batey as Jaskier. Season 3 marks Cavill’s final season as the titular hunter, as he will be replaced by Hunger Games vet Liam Hemsworth in the fourth installment.

Based on the stories and novels by Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher is created and executive produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who also serves as the showrunner. Sean Daniel and Jason Brown of Sean Daniel Company executive produce along with Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko of Platige Image.
