Star Wars: Visions Season 3 Is in Development at Disney+

According to One Take News, Lucasfilm has begun development on the third installment to its animated anthology series Star Wars: Visions. Further details about the potential Visions Season 3 have not yet been revealed yet. This comes a day after Volume 2 made its Disney+ debut on Star Wars Day, with nine new episodes from different filmmakers around the globe.

What is Star Wars: Visions About?

Executive produced by Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, and Josh Rimes, Star Wars: Visions Vol. 2 will continue to push the boundaries of Star Wars storytelling. It will once again employ some of the most captivating animation styles across several countries and cultures. Vol. 2 also features the voices of Ursula Corbero, Anjelica Huston, Kate Dickie, Daniel Dae Kim, Ashley Park, Anika Noni Rose, Daveed Diggs, Cynthia Erivo, and more.

The animation studios involved in the production of the next installment are El Guiri (Spain), Cartoon Saloon (Ireland), Punkrobot (Chile), Aardman (United Kingdom), Studio Mir (South Korea) Studio La Cachette (France), 88 Pictures (India), D’art Shtajio (Japan), and Triggerfish (South Africa).

Star Wars: Visions premiered in 2021. The first volume starred Lucy Liu, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Temuera Morrison, Neil Patrick Harris, Alison Brie, Karen Fukuhara, Simu Liu, Kyle Chandler, David Harbour, Jordan Fisher, Henry Golding, Jamie Chung, and George Takei.

Star Wars: Visions Vol. 1 & 2 are now available for streaming on Disney+.
