Marvel Studios’ upcoming series Secret Invasion will feature the MCU debut of Emilia Clarke, who recently took to social media to share some behind-the-scenes shots.
In a recent post on Instagram, Clarke shared a few photos of her on set, along with the caption of her character’s name, G’iah, and a brief message to “let the badass-ing begin.” Clarke will be playing Talos’ Skrull daughter G’iah, who will be a part of a radicalized group of Skrulls led by Ben-Adir’s resistance leader Gravik.

Disney+’s Secret Invasion series will be led by MCU mainstay Samuel L. Jackson as he reprises his role as Nick Fury. He will be teaming up with Captain Marvel‘s Ben Mendelsohn, who is returning as Talos — the pseudo-leader of the Skrulls.
Joining them are MCU newcomers Kingsley Ben-Adir (One Night in Miami) as the series’ main villain, Oscar winner Olivia Colman (The Crown), Emmy nominee Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Killian Scott (Dublin Murders), Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore), and Carmen Ejogo (Fantastic Beasts), along with MCU vets Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, and Don Cheadle.
Based on Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales, and Laura Martin’s comic book series, Secret Invasion is executive produced by Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot), with Let Him Go director Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim (The Looming Tower) set as directors.
