All Her Little Secrets: Uzo Aduba to Lead Showtime’s Mystery Thriller Miniseries

According to Deadline, Showtime is currently developing a limited series adaptation of All Her Little Secrets, based on Wanda M. Morris’ mystery thriller novel of the same name. Orange is the New Black alum Uzo Aduba has signed on for the leading role in the upcoming project, which hails from Evil series writer Aurin Squire.

All Her Little Secrets will center around a rising Black female lawyer named Ellice Littlejohn. “When she gets caught up in an affair, and a mysterious conspiracy that puts her at risk of being the primary suspect and the next target, Ellice’s perfect façade starts to crumble as she scrambles to hold onto all she has earned, protect her family and stay alive,” reads the synopsis.

The fast-paced limited drama will touch upon themes concerning race, class, gender, and power. In addition to starring, Aduba will also serve as an executive producer along with Morris, Squire, Dan DeNicola, and Deniese Davis. It is a production by CBS Studios.

Aduba is best known for her Emmy-winning performance as Crazy Eyes on Netflix’s acclaimed dramedy Orange is the New Black. Her other notable TV credits include Mrs. America and In Treatment. She most recently voiced the character of Alisha Hawthorne in Pixar’s Lightyear film.
