Set 300 years before Game of ThronesHouse of the Dragon follows the rise and the downfall of the Targaryens. Judging from the images released from Episode 4, the critical situation between king Viserys I Targaryen (Paddy Considine), his daughter Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy/Milly Alcock), and his brother Daemon (Matt Smith) won’t deescalate anytime soon. Despite Viserys’ efforts, it seems the remaining members of the dragonlord family aren’t willing to put their egos aside and talk peace. The fact that Viserys had a son from his new wife and another one is on his/her way doesn’t help.
