Netflix Releases the Poster for Chelsea Handler’s Uganda Be Kidding Me Live

In a sly parody of The Lion King, Netflix has released the new poster for Chelsea Handler’s stand-up comedy special “Uganda Be Kidding Me Live,” which premieres on their streaming service Friday, October 10th in all territories where Netflix is available.

The multi-hyphenate comedienne, actress, author and talk show host ended her popular E! panel show “Chelsea Lately” after seven successful seasons at the end of August, and shot “Uganda Be Kidding Me Live” during the stand-up tour to support her similarly-titled New York Times #1 Bestseller.

Netflix describes the special as one in which Handler, “regales the audience with absurd tales of her global travels and the ridiculous characters in her life, all the while offering her signature unabashed opinions on subjects ranging from her expectations of sexual partners, to the very real problem of dolphin rape.”

Handler is also currently producing a TV movie titled Jen, written by and starring her fellow stand-up/frequent panel guest Jen Kirkman about a newly divorced 30-something living in Boston who stops following the rules.
