The Moon Represents My Heart, the novel, is being developed into a limited series as part of 21 Laps’ overall deal with Netflix. The story centers around a British-Chinese family with the secret ability to time travel. After the parents vanish, their son and daughter search for them across time while coming of age as adults.

The project is being executive produced by Chan, Levy, and 21 Laps’ Josh Barry. The studio’s Senior VP Emily Morris will be overseeing the project with manager Moera Ainai.
