Temuera Morrison Says He Would Change Some Things About The Book of Boba Fett

Despite having a ton of anticipation before its premiere, Disney’s The Book of Boba Fett was received by many to be a bit of a disappointment. According to star Temuera Morrison, there’s not a lot he would change, but there are some things that he thinks could have been done better.

“[It] was a journey for Boba Fett, [from] where we’d found him and where we were taking him; the introduction of the Tuskens, providing that nourishment, that family environment,” Morrison said in an interview with Screen Rant (via SFFGazette). “Now that I’m looking back at it, I don’t know, it’s just one of those things. Things are great when you look back, but there are some things I may have done a little bit different.”

Despite the fact that he would change certain things, Morrison did say that he felt the love of the fans, and was very proud of what the team behind the series were able to put together.

“Feeling the love from all the fans, feeling that we’ve done something good and the reaction I’ve been getting from the fans is overwhelming,” said Morrison. “[I’m] very proud, and just grateful for the wonderful opportunity to play Boba Fett in The Book of Boba Fett, to work with [Ming-Na Wen, who portrayed Fennec Shand in the series].”

The Book of Boba Fett saw the return of Temuera Morrison as he reprises his fan-favorite space bounty hunter role as Boba Fett. The series is executive produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. Joining Morrison are Ming-Na Wen, Matt Berry, Jennifer Beals, and more.

“A thrilling Star Wars adventure,” reads the logline. “It finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”

The Mandalorian spin-off is also executive produced by Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck, with John Bartnicki, and John Hampian set as producers.
