Pedro Pascal: The Mandalorian Movie Seems ‘Inevitable’

During this past weekend’s Star Wars Celebration 2022 event, Pedro Pascal spoke to Variety and said that a movie based on The Mandalorian seems “inevitable.”

Pascal, who stars as the titular Mandalorian, Din Djarin, was asked about when fans can expect to see The Mandalorian on the big screen. Though he goes on to clarify that he has no information on whether such a film will happen, he believes it is inevitable due to the success of the series.

“Don’t you think it’s inevitable? I truly have no idea but that would be a dream come true,” said Pascal. “Not that any more dreams could possibly come true. Maybe I’ve had my fill.”

Given that the third season of the beloved Star Wars spin-off has already wrapped production, with a fourth season confirmed to be on the way, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the popular series made the move to the big screen at some point in the future.

The Mandalorian is led by Pedro Pascal as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy. Before the new season, Pascal’s Din Djarin previously appeared in last year’s The Book of Boba Fett spin-off. As of now, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito are the only returning cast members confirmed for the third season. Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd has also joined the upcoming new season for a guest-starring role.
