She-Hulk Promo Art Teases First Look at Tatiana Maslany’s Hero Form

Last year, during the Disney+ Day celebration, a brief teaser for Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk was released, where we’ve got our first glimpse at Tatiana Maslany’s portrayal of Jennifer Walters. It also featured a sneak peek of her transformation into the titular Jade Giant, which only showed her back physique.

Now, a batch of She-Hulk promo art had made its way online, featuring Maslany in her full She-Hulk form. The promo art was for one of the show’s upcoming official merchandise that was listed through Amazon. However, the listings for the Thermos products have now been removed from the site, which might mean that the circulating promo art wasn’t meant to be released this early.

Described as a 10-episode legal comedy, the She-Hulk series will be led by Emmy and Golden Globe winner Tatiana Maslany who will take on the titular role as Jennifer Walters. She will be joined by Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth (The Incredible Hulk) as they reprise their respective roles as Bruce Banner/The Hulk and Abomination.

Additional cast includes Jameela Jamil, Tim Roth, Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Josh Segarra, with Megan Thee Stallion rumored to also appear in the series.

The Marvel hero debuted in Marvel Comics’ “Savage She-Hulk” #1 in 1980, created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema. Her alter ego is Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner/Hulk, who after being shot is provided a blood transfusion from Bruce that turns her into a similar creature.

She-Hulk hails from head writer Jessica Gao, who is the Emmy-winning scribe behind Rick and Morty‘s acclaimed Season 3 episode “Pickle Rick.” It is directed by Kat Cairo (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Dead to Me) and Anu Valia, who are both executive producing.

The project was first announced by Marvel’s chief creative officer Kevin Feige at the 2019 D23 along with two other MCU shows Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight. This marks the iconic superheroes’ live-action debut who are also expected to be featured in future MCU films.
