Doom Patrol Renewed for Fourth Season, Mid-Season Trailer Released

During Saturday’s DC FanDome event, the cast of DC’s Doom Patrol confirmed that the series had been renewed for a fourth season, bringing back one of the biggest and most popular DC-based television series out there.

Doom Patrol initially began as a television series that premiered on the DX Universe streaming platform but is now streaming on HBO Max. The news was shared alongside a brand new mid-season trailer for the third season of Doom Patrol, which is available now on HBO Max

“Season three opens on the culmination of Dorothy’s confrontation with the Candlemaker that leads to a devastating loss,” reads the official synopsis. “The Doom Patrol is at a difficult crossroads and each member struggles to face who they are and who they want to be. And things get a whole lot more complicated when Madame Rouge arrives in a time machine with a very specific mission, if only she could remember it.”

The new season also features the introductions of Michelle Gomez as Madame Rouge, and Sisterhood of Dada, whose members will be portrayed by Micah Joe Parker, Wynn Everett, Miles Mussenden, Anita Kalathara, and Gina Hiraizumi.  Madalyn Horcher, Ty Tennant, and Sebastian Croft have also been cast for guest appearances.

Based on the DC Comics series created by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney, and Bruno Premiani, Doom Patrol is written and created by Supernatural‘s Jeremy Carver. Executive producers are Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, Jeremy Carver, and Sarah Schechter.

All three seasons are available to stream now on HBO Max.
