The Mandalorian tops Stranger Things as the #1 streaming TV show!

If you’ve missed out on the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, clearly you are in the minority as Business Insider reports that the Star Wars spinoff has dethroned Stranger Things as the #1 streaming show in the United States.

Per the report, The Mandalorian amassed over 100 million demand expressions from November 17 to November 23, according to Parrott Analytics, easily topping Stranger Things, which accumulated 81 million.

“While demand is a metric that should not be confused with subscriber numbers, this is a strong indication that the ‘Star Wars’ series is driving a lot of sign-ups to the recently-debuted Disney Plus service,” explained a Parrot Analytics representative.

This is obviously good news for the Mouse House, who unveiled the long-gestating Disney+ earlier this month. The Mandalorian is the first of many planned original TV shows for the streaming service, and the first live action Star Wars TV show under the Disney banner. Currently, the series boasts a 90% on RottenTomatoes, and a 95% audience rating.
