Odette Annable, Natalie Alyn Lind join Tell Me a Story season 2
Two new actors have joined the cast of Tell Me A Story for the show’s second season on CBS All Access. Per a report from Deadline, Odette Annable (Supergirl) will play Maddie in the show’s take on “Sleeping Beauty,” while Natalie Alyn Lind (The Gifted) will play Ashley, a riff on the Beauty character.
Tell Me A Story takes the world’s most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. Set in modern-day New York City, the first season of this serialized drama interwove “The Three Little Pigs,” “Little Red Riding Hood” and “Hansel and Gretel” into an epic and subversive tale of love, loss, greed, revenge, and murder. The second season will move on to focus on a story interweaving “Beauty and the Beast,” “Sleeping Beauty” and “Cinderella.”
From Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, Tell Me A Story is written and executive produced by Kevin Williamson alongside Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor and Liz Friedlander, who directed and executive produced the first two episodes.
CBS All Access’ growing slate of original series currently includes Star Trek: Discovery, The Good Fight, No Activity, and Strange Angel, The Twilight Zone. CBS All Access’ original series library will continue to expand with Star Trek: Picard, Why Women Kill, Star Trek: Lower Decks and The Stand, with additional programming to be announced.
Tell Me A Story season one is available to stream on CBS All Access. There’s been no official premiere date for season 2 at this time.
