Most of the Saved By the Bell cast reunites for 30th Anniversary
Here’s some uplifting news for anyone who grew up in the 90s: the cast of the positively amazing TV comedy Saved By the Bell reunited once more for a quick photo on Instagram to celebrate the show’s 30th Anniversary. They even used the moment to remind us of the phrase “Friends forever,” the slogan of the group’s fictional band — aptly named Zack Attack — featured in one of the episodes. Check out the post below, via The Wrap.
Fans will immediately notice the absence of Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies, who played Screech Powers and Lisa Turtle, but seeing Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater), Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski) and Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano) still kicking it after all of these years brings about sufficient amounts of joy.
As the article points out, this isn’t the first time this group has gotten together. In 2015, they reunited on Jimmy Fallon in a memorable skit that even included the high school set from the production, and Lopez and Thiessen appeared on Ellen in August to stir up some cocktails.
Unfortunately, no news of a possible revival has ever been reported.
