Goliath, starring Billy Bob Thornton, William Hurt, Dennis Quaid, and J.K. Simmons, has its fourth, and final, season premiere slated for this Friday, September 24. Both tracks perfectly embody the score evolution of Goliath throughout the seasons. “The Theme of Billy McBride” showcases the distinct sound and palette of this upcoming season with its classic film noir vernacular, while “Special Delivery” is more representative of the contemporary, looming Goliath sound.

Ehrlich and Derlatka received two Emmy nominations for their work on Fox’s Emmy Award-winning and Golden Globes Award-nominated drama series House, M. D., starring Hugh Laurie; and on CBS’s drama/thriller series The Agency, starring Beau Bridges.

Derlatka, in addition to scoring hit television shows, tours with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Journey on keyboards, backing, and lead vocals. Derlatka became an official band member in 2020. Ehrlich earned an additional Emmy nomination for his work on Fox’s adventure/fantasy series Roar, starring Heath Ledger.

Other co-credits include Fox’s medical drama, The Resident, which returns September 21 with its fifth season; NBC’s Parenthood; About A Boy; and Life; USA Network’s Graceland and White Collar; Fox’s Pitch; and more.

Here’s the synopsis for Goliath: “In the final season, Billy returns to his Big Law roots after Patty (Nina Arianda) takes a job at a prestigious white-shoe law firm in San Francisco. Together, they try to take down one of America’s most insidious Goliaths: the opioid industry. As Billy deals with his own chronic pain and Patty can’t shake the feeling she’s being used, their loyalties will be tested, putting their partnership on the line. In a world where money can buy anything, even justice, they’ll have to risk everything to do what’s right. Goliath is from Amazon Studios, with executive producers Lawrence Trilling (Parenthood), Geyer Kosinski (Fargo), and Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner (Boardwalk Empire).”
