Hulu

Into the Dark: Crawlers, March Episode Premiere: Featuring my favorite opening theme songs from the Into the Dark series so far, complete with lyrics like, “There will be blood, you’re gonna die, you’ll never make it through the night,” Crawlers takes place on St. Patrick’s Day — a night of wild parties and drunken revelry — where three unlikely friends band together to save a college town from a vicious horde of body-switching aliens. Our conspiracy-fueled narrator Shauna, played by Giorgia Whigham (The Punisher), takes us through an extra bloody night that, in addition to body-snatching aliens, attempts to make a statement on college sexual assault and the frustration over not believing victims through parallelism and a questionable plot twist. Overall one of the stronger installments in the series, Into the Dark: Crawlers will debut on Friday, March 6.

Devs, Series Premiere: From executive producer Alex Garland and starring Sonoya Mizuno (Crazy Rich Asians) and Nick Offerman (Fargo), the limited series follows a young computer engineer (Mizuno) who investigates the secretive development division of her employer, Amaya, a cutting-edge tech company based on San Francisco, who she believes are behind the murder of her boyfriend. The sci-fi series will premiere on Thursday, March 5.

Amazon Prime Video

ZeroZeroZero, Series Premiere: Based on the book by Roberto Saviano, the drug drama series stars Andrew Riseborough (Waco), Dane DeHaan (A Cure for Wellness), Gabriel Byrne (Hereditary), and Harold Torres (Sin Nombre) and centers around family dynamics and the power struggle over the cocaine trade by following a shipment of coke from the Americas to Europe. Mexican cartels, the Calabrian mafia, and corrupt businessmen all battle each other for power over the drugs. The eight-part series will begin streaming on Friday, March 6.

Apple TV+

Amazing Stories, Series Premiere: A reimagining of the original anthology series, the reboot will consist of 10 episodes where each episode will transport the audience to worlds of wonder through the lens of today’s most imaginative filmmakers, directors, and writers. Steven Spielberg’s anthology series starring Dylan O’Brien, Edward Burns, and the late Robert Forster will be making its debut on Friday, March 6 with its first five episodes.

Netflix

Castlevania, Season 3 Premiere: The human world is in chaos and evil never stays buried. The first two seasons of the adult animated series, based on the Konami video game franchise, adapted the 1989 entry Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse and follow Trevor Belmont (Richard Armitage), Alucard (James Callis), and Sypha Belnades (Alejandra Reynoso) as they defend the nation of Wallachia from Dracula (Graham McTavish) and his minions. The third season, loosely adapted from the game Castlevania: Curse of Darkness and possibly the best season to date, will consist of ten episodes and will launch on Thursday, March 5.

AMC

Ride with Norman Reedus, Season 4 Premiere: Season 4, which consists of six episodes, features a The Walking Dead Dixon Brothers reunion with Norman Reedus journeying through Alabama and Georgia with his former co-star, Michael Rooker. Reedus will also be riding through Kentucky, and expanding his international travels with rides in Japan, Costa Rica and Uruguay. Guest riders include Milo Ventimiglia (This is Us), Ryan Hurst (The Walking Dead), Clifton Collins Jr. (Westworld), Dom Rocket, and Becky Goebel. The new season will premiere on Sunday, March 8, and will be available to stream on the AMC site.

Renewals

The Dick Wolf Empire: Dick Wolf’s long-running Law & Order: SVU and his three Chicago-based series — Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med — have all been renewed for three additional seasons at NBC. Wolf also renewed his commitment to the network, having signed a massive five-year extension to his deal at Universal Television, a division of NBCUniversal Content Studios.

First Wives Club, Season 2: BET+ has ordered a second season of First Wives Club, based on the 1996 film of the same name and starring Ryan Michelle Bathe, Jill Scott, and Michelle Buteau. Set in New York City, the show follows Ari (Bathe), Bree (Buteau) and Hazel (Scott), who band together after their marriages fall apart and find strength in their sisterhood — and of course a little revenge. The first season is available to stream on BET+.
