Charmed Season 1 Episode 9 Recap

The car hitting Galvin seemed to be a coincidence, and he got away with only a broken leg. He came over to the house to see Macy before he left town for Christmas, but a mishap with mistletoe had him on the floor. Galvin stayed to rest, but Macy was nervous about the mark on him. She enlisted Harry to keep him busy while she pretended to be busy in the kitchen.

Amulet of the Archangels

Charmed Season 1 Episode 9 Recap

Parker and Hunter broke into a church in Bucharest and stole the Amulet of the Archangels. A priest tried to stop them by using his staff to open a pit to hell, but Hunter killed him and took the staff. Parker was supposed to give the amulet to Maggie as a gift. Because she was an empath, the amulet would drain all of the Charmed Ones’ powers.

When Parker went over to the house to give it to her, the mark on Galvin appeared to be hurting him. Additionally, Mel noticed that the amulet had changed from white to black, a sign that it was draining their powers. Mel became suspicious of Parker, but Maggie was upset that Mel didn’t seem to trust her instincts.

Charmed Season 1 Episode 9 Recap

Macy decided to call Mama Roz about the mark, who confirmed her suspicions. If the mark was reacting that way, then Parker must be evil. Unfortunately, before she could tell anyone, Hunter knocked her out and tied her up in the garden shed. He shape shifted into Macy and tried to dissuade Mel’s suspicions. He also removed the protection ward from Galvin.

Blind Trust

Charmed Season 1 Episode 9 Recap

Parker felt guilt over what he was doing to Maggie, and he slipped the amulet off of her before it was complete. Unfortunately, Mel saw him do it. She told Harry, and they checked the Book of Shadows to find out what it was. However, Mel told Hunter what was going on without sharing the details with Macy. To get Parker back on track, Hunter revealed to him that they were not just trying to keep him alive, as he previously believed. Instead, they were trying to turn him into the Source of All Evil.

In a showdown, Hunter tried to kill Maggie, but Parker turned into his shadow demon form to save her. The Sarcana mark that Mel received earlier that day called crows to save them from him. Parker destroyed the amulet, but Maggie told Parker she never wanted to see him again. Hunter returned, so they used the staff to open up a hell pit, and he fell in it. Unfortunately, Galvin was still there, and he saw everything.
