Thai Reality Show Fully Booked Episode 4 Recap: Restaurant Opens to Customers

The Thai cooking reality show Fully Booked released episode 4 on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 6 p.m. ICT on GMMTV’s official YouTube channel. The show takes viewers on a mouth-watering journey as GMMTV’s six idols—Earth, Gun, Pond, Force, Book, and Dunk—open a Thai restaurant in Osaka, Japan.

Fully Booked episode 4 begins with the idols heading to the restaurant for its grand opening. Before getting to work, the six discuss their test round from the day before. Earth says the team is ready for the day after working on their previous mistakes with the dishes. The idols then head to the station to prepare ingredients. Thanks to the test round, Earth, Gun, Pond, Force, Book, and Dunk ease into their respective duties.

Afterward, the PD lays out the day’s schedule. The first set of customers includes 24 guests. From welcoming them to serving appetizers, main courses, and desserts, they’re given time slots for each activity. The service round ends with the idols chatting with guests and taking photos with them.

The idols then greet the customers and present their welcome speech in Japanese. It is followed by Pond, Earth, and Book taking main dish choice orders. However, Pond almost messes up the order after missing one of them. Nonetheless, he gets it corrected after asking the customer again.

The team faces a hiccup when they confuse the number of servings. Despite the delay, the appetizers are successfully served. However, the team then realizes they haven’t given them utensils to eat. After apologizing and serving, the idols check on guests to see if they enjoyed the food. They exclaim it is ‘tasty’ in Thai. However, they do add that the appetizers are spicy. Later, Force and Gun introduce the cuisine’s dishes to customers.

Fully Booked episode 4 recap:

As the main course comes with two choices, Pad Thai and Chicken Rice, the team struggles again with getting the servings right for each table. Nonetheless, they learn how to manage the orders in a fast and clear way, Earth says. However, an order is messed up again as one of the guests says her dish doesn’t have shrimp in it. Earth then apologizes and serves it to her.

Moving on, Book displays impressive customer service as he shows them how to mix and eat the Pad Thai. He says he wants the guests to experience the true taste of the dish. The main course team then introduces their dishes’ background and highlights to the guests.

The next stage sees the idols serving Bualoy to the guests. Dunk rejoices after seeing them enjoy it as he has made the dessert’s coconut sauce himself. He then explains to the guests the process of making the unique Thai dessert that includes a touch of Japan. The idols complete the first round as they greet the guests and take photos. Earth, Gun, Pond, Force, Book, and Dunk then share the challenges they faced during the first round – from being slow to getting the customer’s order sequence right.

Fully Booked episode 4 then continues with the second round as the idols display a much smoother process and teamwork. Not only that, their pace gradually improves after learning from their previous mistakes. They use both the table and seat numbers to identify and serve orders during the second round. They even successfully serve the orders with no nuts and cilantro.

Along with preparing and serving food, the idols also made sure to keep the guests entertained. They even celebrate one of the guests’ birthday. The team then receives positive reviews from happy customers.
