Thai movie Mansuang ending: What happens at the end?

ManSuang portrays the story of Khem and Wan, two boys from Chachoengsao who come to ManSuang on a secret mission. ManSuang is a city of gods and angels. It is a high-profile social club where people of the lower class come to learn dancing and singing to perform for the upper class.

Apo plays the role of Khem, and Wan is enacted by KinnPorsche star Bas Asavapatr Ponpiboon. Mile plays the role of drummer Chatra. He has also come to ManSuang with a separate mission to find the killer of his father, Khun Suthin.

Khem and Wan start looking for a crucial document that can change the tide of Thailand’s history. But as the story continues, Khem and Wan drift apart due to their differences in accepting help from others. Khem seeks the support of Master Hong, portrayed by another KinnPorsche star, Tong Thanayut Thakoonauttaya.

But Wan does not like Khem’s new companion, Master Hong, who is close to the Chinese clan Tua Hia. Meanwhile, several murders occur at ManSuang. Master Hong’s father, Cheng, gets killed by his nephew, Tiang. Later, Tiang also tries to kill Hong, but the latter survives as he suspected the attempt already.

Khem gets hold of the document he was searching for and learns that Chatra’s father was trying to negotiate with two teams to sell weapons to both sides. The documents reveal two separate contracts between Europeans and Phraya Bodisorn and the Europeans and Phraya Wichien, where Suthin was the chief negotiator.

Hong decides to end the clash and brings out the truth of Tiang’s disloyalty to the world. Khem helps him by putting on a performance and narrating Tiang’s evil doings on stage.

Tiang gets scared and tries to run away, but ultimately, Khem and Hong find him. Hong decides to end his life. While everything goes according to Khem and Hong’s plan, Wan comes in between trying to use the gunpowder stored in the room to end all of them.

In a dramatic turn, Khem shoots his close friend. Though he had to kill Wan to save ManSuang, he seems shattered looking at the face of his dead friend.

Khem, who wants to get the documents and hand them over to Phraya Bodisorn to claim his freedom, tries to burn it. So Chatra becomes Khem’s savior and delivers the document to Pharaya demanding Khem’s freedom.

ManSuang ends positively, where both Khem and Chatra get to explore what they always wanted. Khem and Chatra decide to make changes in society without accepting the lives of the nobles.

While the drama does not show any apparent sign of romance between Khem and Chatra, their camaraderie lends the drama the warmth it needs amidst the betrayals and violence of different groups.

Along with a tightly woven plot, Apo, Tong, Bas, and Mile’s brilliant acting in the lead roles make the historical movie a palpable thriller where viewers can’t move from their seats without getting to the end.
