In the second one, The Mandalorian star is seen embracing Ramsey from the back. The former looked towards the camera, while the latter darted her eyes upwards.

Series co-creator Neil Druckmann recently opened up about the episode’s events in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. He highlighted the “porch scene,” expressing pride at how the scene “turned out.” Druckmann explained that when working on Episode 6, he had Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker, who played Ellie and Joel, respectively, in the games, on his mind and “wanted to honor” their portrayals of the characters.
Season 2 Episode 6, titled “The Price,” explains how Joel and Ellie arrived at their strained relationship, as depicted in the first episode. The episode also explores the origins of Gail and Joel’s tense relationship — and how and why Joel killed the former’s husband, Eugene.
