Operation Finale Trailer: After WWII, The Mission for Justice Began

MGM has released the final trailer for Operation Finale, the historical thriller starring Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) and Ben Kingsley (Gandhi, Iron Man 3). The new trailer showcases the fine line between what is right and what is wrong. Check it out in the player below and look for two new character posters in the gallery!

The drama is about the hunt and capture of the Nazi war criminal, Adolf Eichmann, in Argentina in the 1960s. Oscar Isaac stars as Peter Malkin, the Mossad member and head of a group of Israeli spies who took him down. Eichmann had murdered Malkin’s sister and her children and was the organizer of the transport of Jews to concentration camps in Europe. He escaped to Austria and then to Argentina after WWII.

Operation Finale is written by Matthew Orton and directed by Chris Weitz (About a Boy). Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger (La La Land) will produce for Automatik with Isaac and Inspire Entertainment’s Jason Spire. Matt Charman (Bridge of Spies) will executive produce the film.

The film also stars Lior Raz, Melanie Laurent (Inglorious Basterds), Nick Kroll (The League), Joe Alwyn (Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk), Haley Lu Richardson (The Edge of Seventeen), Michael Aronov, Ohad Knoller, Greg Hill, Torben Liebrecht, Mike Hernandez, Greta Scacchi and Pêpê Rapazote.

Operation Finale debuts in theaters on September 14.
