Lionsgate has premiered the first trailer for its late-summer horror offering The Possession, starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kyra Sedgwick, Madison Davenport and Natasha Calis.
Ole Bornedal directed the supernatural thriller which takes its inspiration from a Los Angeles Times article called “Jinx in a Box.” Juliet Snowden and Stiles White (the duo behind Boogeyman and Knowing) penned the script.
The film centers around a cursed relic containing mysterious familial tokens that is mistakenly purchased and its new owner must solve its mystery to save her own family. The trailer inside is solid and packs some good scares.
