A brand-new The Glass Castle trailer called ‘Dream’ has been released by Lionsgate

A new The Glass Castle trailer has been released by Lionsgate. The film, based on the New York Times best-selling 2005 memoir by Jeannette Walls, stars Brie Larson (Room), Woody Harrelson (The Hunger Games) and Naomi Watts (King Kong). The Glass Castle was written by Destin Daniel Cretton (who also directed) and Andrew Lanham. Based on one of the longest-running New York Times best-sellers, The Glass Castle tells the story of Jeannette Walls’ unconventional upbringing at the hands of her deeply dysfunctional and uniquely vibrant parents, and her journey towards acceptance and fulfillment.

Chronicling the adventures of an eccentric, resilient and tight-knit family, The Glass Castle is a remarkable story of unconditional love. Oscar® winner Brie Larson brings Jeannette Walls’s best-selling memoir to life as a young woman who, influenced by the joyfully wild nature of her deeply dysfunctional father (Woody Harrelson), found the fiery determination to carve out a successful life on her own terms.

Larson will play the lead role in Captain Marvel and will make an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War. She was most recently seen in Kong: Skull Island. Harrelson was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for The Messenger and for Best Actor in The People vs. Larry Flynt. Watts is known for her work in the films King KongMulholland DriveThe Ring and The Impossible, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress.

The Glass Castle film is produced by Gil Netter and Kan Kao from Netter Productions. The Glass Castle will hit theaters on August 11, 2017.
