Watch: ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’ Payoff Trailer Delivers New Footage

When it comes to marketing a sequel I have to assume trailers aren’t so much attempting to sell an audience on whether or not they want to see a movie as much as it’s about raising awareness that, “Hey, remember how you like the last movie? Well, another one with the same characters is coming.” Sure, you want it to look good, and the marketing and press blurbs (Tom Cruise Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation have already accomplished that, but is the target audience aware it’s hitting theaters on July 31? Were you aware it’s just a little over a month away? No, well, here’s another trailer to not only whet your appetite, but to serve as a reminder.
