Just another one of those days where the trailer drops for a movie I didn’t even remember writing about Daddy’s Home was actually being made and boom, here’s a trailer, and it doesn’t look half-bad as The Other Guys stars, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, reunite for another comedy.
This time the story centers on two men battling for the love and attention of their children, one the ex-husband (Wahlberg) the other (Ferrell) the uptight step father. Linda Cardellini plays the wife caught in the middle of their stupidity. Thomas Haden Church and Hannibal Buress are among the film’s supporting cast.
Paramount has set a Christmas Day release date for the film, which is directed by Sean Anders (Horrible Bosses 2) and John Morris (currently attached to direct the Baywatch movie). Watch the trailer below, personally a looks a little too obvious, but hey, maybe you’ll think otherwise.
