A couple of trailer teasers have come online for the upcoming Point Break remake of Kathryn Bigelow’s 1991 film of the same name.
The film doesn’t appear to have changed much about the story as it still centers on a young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), as he infiltrates a team of thrill seeking criminals led by Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez). It also sticks with the extreme sport angle of the original with everything from surfing to sky-diving, both of which are featured in these two previews.
Directed by Ericson Core, the remake is set for a Christmas 2015 release, check out the two trailers below and stay tuned as I’m sure we’ll have a full domestic trailer soon enough.
