You can pretty much guarantee this one is going to tug at the heart strings and send people out of theaters crying. Just below is the first trailer for Max, telling of the titular military dog that is traumatized after his handler’s death in Afghanistan. Max is sent home and adopted by the bereaved family, ultimately bonding with the soldier’s troubled 14-year-old brother, and together, they begin to heal one another and discover a secret about the soldier’s death.
Yeah, you’re probably crying already and you’re probably going to cry some more once you watch the trailer below. You’ve been warned.
Directed by Boaz Yakin (Remember the Titans), the film is set to hit theaters on June 26 and stars Josh Wiggins, Lauren Graham, Thomas Haden Church, Robbie Amell and Jay Hernandez.
