The fifth season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” premieres on April 12 and this weekend the trailer for said fifth season is airing alongside the special IMAX showings of the final two episodes from season four. However, the trailer leaked online earlier today, causing HBO to deliver the official version for you to devour.

I’ve been debating as to whether or not I’m going to watch each episode on a week-to-week basis or if I’m going to allow episodes to build up over the course of the season and binge watch two or three at a time. Last season I grew incredibly tired of the tedium that resulted in each episode ending with some meaningless cliffhanger as if we weren’t going to tune in the following week in the first place. Teases seemed to be the priority over storytelling and while I have no doubt this new season won’t be any different, I’m not sure I can hold out not watching. After all, I still like the show, just frequently annoyed by the pacing.

That said, here’s the trailer. See what you think.
