Disney has premiered the first Tomorrowland trailer, the newest film from Brad Bird (Ratatouille, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) after premiering it at the New York Comic Con only minutes ago.
Set for release on May 22, 2015, Tomorrowland finds former boy-genius Frank (George Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embarking on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world–and them–forever.
Bird co-wrote the screenplay with Damon Lindelof (Prometheus, “The Leftovers”) and along with Clooney and Robertson the film co-stars Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key and Thomas Robinson.
