A new trailer for Monsters: Dark Continent has premiered, giving a second look at the sequel to Godzilla remake director, Gareth Edwards‘s break-out, low budget film from 2010.
Dark Continent is set seven years after the events of Monsters, and the ‘Infected Zones’ have spread worldwide. Humans have been knocked off the top of the food chain, with disparate communities struggling for survival. Amidst the turmoil, two soldiers embark on a life-altering mission through the dark heart of monster territory in the deserts. By the time they reach their goal, they will have been forced to confront the fear that fighting the monsters is just the beginning of their war.
Tom Green has taken over the directing chair from Edwards and while the film doesn’t yet have a domestic release, it will hit UK theaters on November 28. Check out the new trailer below.
