Ghostbusters is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and will not only be screened at the Toronto Film Festival in tribute to star Bill Murray, but this Friday, August 29, the original 1984 film has been restored and remastered in 4K and will be returning to the big screen, in the United States and Canada, for a limited engagement. I’m actually thinking of checking it out myself, can’t remember the last time I saw it.
That said, the folks at Screen Junkies have decided it’s time to take a second, and honest look at the ’80s classic and the film’s “nerds” are the primary focus not to mention all the goodies a “PG” film used to deliver. Give it a watch below.
