I wonder how much it costs SyFy to churn out this crap, but kudos to them for taking advantage of a situation as they even managed to convince me to watch Sharknado, though I’m not sure I’ll be equally enticed to check out Sharknado 2: The Second One when it premieres on July 30, but the first trailer certainly looks as if they’ve ramped up the stupidity.
This time around the action moves to New York City where a freak weather system unleashes a Sharknado on the Big Apple and Ian Ziering and Tara Reid are back as Fin and April, apparently on a not-so-coincidental vacation(?) to save the day. A cast of has beens rounds out the cast including Vivica A. Fox, Mark McGrath, Kelly Osbourne, Andy Dick, Judah Friedlander and Judd Hirsch.
