Snowpiercer is being screened almost daily it seems in New York and LA and I am getting itchy for a Seattle screening that most likely won’t come until late June seeing how the film is set for a June 27 release. Of course, that doesn’t mean there haven’t been more than a fair share of trailers to accompany this film as it has opened damn near everywhere and is even available on Blu-ray in some territories already.
After a highly-publicized battle over the final cut it will be director Bong Joon-ho‘s director’s cut making its way to U.S. theaters as the film tells of a future where a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet, a class system evolves aboard the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine.
The film stars Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Alison Pill, Ed Harris, Ewen Bremner and Song Kang-ho. You can watch this new trailer directly below.
