At the end of this 3:45 minute trailer for the short film “Run” starring Jay Z and Beyonce is says it will be “coming never”. What we’re supposed to make of that and everything else that came before those two words I’m not entirely sure.
Along with Jay and Bey, the short, directed by music video helmer Melina Matsoukas, also features Sean Penn as some wise sage, Don Cheadle getting trash talked by Jay, Guillermo DÃaz, Emmy Rossum as a cop who’s a really bad shot, Jake Gyllenhaal on the phone, Blake Lively as the confused friend and Rashida Jones and Kidada Jones as police line-up stooges.
What exactly is going on? Well, I can only assume it’s some sort of Bonnie and Clyde thing, something entirely familiar to the couple, but I’ll leave it to you to decipher. Is this merely a promo for their upcoming “On The Run Tour” tour?
