This is undoubtedly going to head straight to Video On Demand, but should you find yourself in need of a new action thriller where Nicolas Cage yells and shoots people then maybe Rage will fit the mood as this new trailer demonstrates.
Here Cage’s daughter (Aubrey Peeples) is kidnapped by the Russian mafia as payback for his old crimes. A police officer, played by Danny Glover, tells him to let him handle it and not go back to his old ways. Obviously Cage doesn’t listen as he goes full-on Bryan Mills in an attempt to get back his daughter. Peter Stormare and Rachel Nichols co-star.
This could almost be the plot of Taken 3, though Liam Neeson has all but assured us no one gets “taken” in that movie, which makes me wonder if they’ll have to title it Not Taken… or I guess they could just go with Rage… Just sayin’.
