Described by Legendary as the “Asia Trailer” this new Godzilla trailer features another good look at the nuclear Komodo dragon in all its rage-filled glory, which seems to be the goal of each new piece of marketing for the film as of late. Personally this has become one of my most anticipated, if not the most anticipated blockbuster of the summer (Boyhood is still my most anticipated overall film) as I really hope director Gareth Edwards (Monsters) has done the Toho classic justice, made it his own and didn’t try to pay too much of an homage as the roar and physical appearance of Godzilla seems to be more than enough of an homage as is.
Check out the new trailer below, Godzilla roars into theaters on May 16.
