Zach Braff has taken his share of heat for his new film Wish I Was Here, which began as a Kickstarter campaign and has since found domestic distribution from Focus Features and a warm reception at the Sundance Film Festival. Set to hit theaters on July 25, the film marks Braff’s first feature directorial outing since 2004’s Garden State and tells the story of a struggling actor (Braff) who finds himself at a major crossroads, forcing him to examine his life, his career, and his family.
Alongside Braff, the film co-stars Kate Hudson, Mandy Patinkin, Josh Gad, Joey King, Jim Parsons, Ashley Greene and Donald Faison.
