Sony has premiered a red band trailer for the upcoming comedy Sex Tape, reuniting Bad Teacher co-stars Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel in a film centered on a couple looking to spice up their sex life, but when their home video becomes more public than private thanks to “the cloud”, they end up having a night they didn’t bargain for as the search to retain their privacy ensues.
Jake Kasdan directs and Rob Lowe is in the cast somewhere as the film will hit theaters on July 25. Personally it sounds like this could be one punchline stretched into the length of a feature film, but with the idea it all happens over the course of one crazy night does give me hope for some non-stop craziness.
