The first trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will appear tomorrow, but in advance of its arrival Dimension Films is whetting your whistle with an animated Instagram teaser for the film, featuring the same images we’ve already seen only this time with sound effects and animated rain.
With the arrival of 300: Rise of an Empire this Friday, it only makes sense we’d get our first look at Robert Rodriguez‘s sequel that’s been nine years in the offing.
Co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller reunite to bring Miller’s visually stunning “Sin City” graphic novels back to the screen in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Weaving together two of Miller’s classic stories with new tales, the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more reviled inhabitants. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is the follow up to Rodriguez and Miller’s 2005 groundbreaking film, Frank Miller’s Sin City.
The cast includes Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, Jessica Alba, Jaime King, Jamie Chung, Dennis Haysbert, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Christopher Meloni, Josh Brolin, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Jeremy Piven, Bruce Willis, Eva Green, Julia Garner and Stacy Keach.
