Bright and early this morning Warner Bros. released the second The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug trailer giving you the latest look at the upcoming second film in director Peter Jackson‘s trilogy of films adapted from J.R.R. Tolkien‘s more than 75-year-old novel, which will release in theaters on December 13.
Continuing the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug follows his journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellan) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor. Of course, all that aside, the big hope here is finally seeing the dragon Smaug, which will be voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch.
