I was considering checking out Keanu Reeves‘s Man of Tai Chi at the Toronto Film Festival — and who knows, I still might — but I’m not exactly convinced by what I’ve seen so far and this latest trailer isn’t doing much more for me.
Set in modern Beijing, Man of Tai Chi marks Reeves’ directorial debut. The film, also starring Reeves, follows the spiritual journey of a young martial artist (Tiger Chen) whose unparalleled Tai Chi skills land him in a highly lucrative underworld fight club. As the fights intensify, so does his will to survive.
Radius is set to release the film in theaters on November 1 so I’ll definitely get a chance to see it, but check out this trailer and you tell me, is this worth seeing while I’m at TIFF?
