The plot for Tom Cruise‘s All You Need is Kill sounds a lot like Bill Murray’s Groundhog’s Day, just as does the synopsis for About Time from Richard Curtis (Love Actually, Pirate Radio), which features Domhnall Gleeson as Tim, a 21-year-old who learns the ability to time travel is in his genes. Tim decides to use his newfound power to land a girlfriend (Rachel McAdams), but he soon finds himself in a perpetual time travel loop and continues to play their first meeting over and over again.
Today an international trailer for the film, which also stars Curtis regular Bill Nighy, has arrived and can be seen below.
About Time will hit UK theaters on September 6 and arrive in the U.S. two months later in a limited November 1 release, expanding on November 8.
