I can’t help but get the feeling Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters will be a film Paramount won’t be screening for critics prior to its January 25 release, the same as Lionsgate didn’t hold a screening of Texas Chainsaw 3D this weekend. However, I wanted to see both, but midnight screenings and matinees are just as hard for me to fit into the daily schedule as they are for everyone else that has a job, though I think this is one I might make an exception for… not because it looks good, but because it just might be a fun review to write.
The film is described as a dark action movie that picks up with the fairy tale siblings (Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton) years after the traumatic childhood incident has turned them into bounty hunters. The following trailer features all the blood and gore you could ask for, all in 3D CG coming right atcha.
