Just the other night, before watching Rock of Ages, they showed the trailer for the Channing Tatum stripper flick Magic Mike. It looked decent, but I just can’t help but laugh out loud when Tatum’s titular character talks about how he wants to open his own custom furniture shop. I don’t know why, but that just sounds so silly and cliche to me.
Of course, custom coffee tables are hardly the attraction here. What’s going to have audiences screaming is the fact Tatum along with co-stars Alex Pettyfer, Adam Rodriguez, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Kevin Nash are going to be getting all naked and writhing around on the big screen. Personally, this does very little for me, but judging by the interest I’ve see online it’s got more than its share of fans already.
That said, here come two red band trailers for the film to give you a little extra flesh that can’t be seen in the theatrical trailers. You ready? Get out your dollar bills!
