Trailer for Channing Tatum’s Stripper Movie ‘Magic Mike’

What would you get if the director of Che made a movie based on Channing Tatum‘s previous life as a stripper? The answer is quite clear in the first trailer for Magic Mike, which features Tatum in the title role as he takes a young dancer called The Kid (played by I Am Number 4 star Alex Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.

Directed by Steven Soderbergh and set to hit theaters on June 29, the film co-stars Matthew McConaughey, Matthew Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Riley Keough, Cody Horn and Olivia Munn and you can catch the trailer directly below.

I didn’t watch the trailer but I skimmed it and just visually you can tell this is a Soderbergh feature as he once again serves as his own cinematographer and has given it a sort of washed out sepia tone when we’re not in the Champagne Room with C-Tates and the boys.

You can watch the trailer in HD at Apple.
