Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston Escape to a Hippy Compound in Trailer for ‘Wanderlust’

David Wain last directed the excellent comedy Role Models and he has teamed once again with Paul Rudd and this time instead of Seann William Scott he’s brought along Jennifer Aniston for Wanderlust which Universal has set for a February 24, 2012 release.

The film was actually supposed to be in theaters already as Universal originally set an October 7, 2011 release, but things happen and I guess competing against Dirty Girl, The Ides of March and Real Steel just wasn’t as appealing as butting heads with Summit’s Gone and Tyler Perry’s Good Deeds.

Wanderlust centers on a New York City couple that has to move to Atlanta after he gets fired. However, time in Atlanta isn’t so hot so the two head out and ultiamtely stumble upon Elysium, an idyllic community populated by colorful characters who embrace a different way of looking at things. Money? It can’t buy happiness. Careers? Who needs them? Clothes? Only if you want them. The film also stars Justin Theroux, Malin Akerman, Kathryn Hahn, Lauren Ambrose, Ken Marino, Joe Lo Truglio, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Alan Alda.

Check out the trailer below and you tell me if you’re aboard. Oh, yes, it is an R-rated comedy, just as Role Models was.
