‘Made in Dagenham’ Trailer Exercises Its Rights Online

Coincidentally enough I am headed out the door in the next few minutes to see Nigel Cole’s Made in Dagenham just as the trailer arrives via Apple.

Already causing a small buzz online as a potential Best Picture nominee, but even more so with a focus on the film’s actresses such as Sally Hawkins and Rosamund Pike, Made in Dagenham is set in the ’60s and centers on a group of women who work at the Dagenham’s Ford Motor Factory who end up standing up for themselves in the face of their bosses, communities and local government.

The film is set to hit theaters on November 19 from Sony Pictures Classics and along with Hawkins and Pike, the film co-stars Bob Hoskins, Miranda Richardson, Andrea Riseborough, Daniel Mays, Kenneth Cranham, Rupert Graves, Roger Lloyd-Pack, Richard Schiff and Geraldine James. Director Nigel Cole is probably best known for the 2003 pic Calendar Girls and he also directed the little seen 2005 rom-com A Lot Like Love starring Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher.

Since I will be watching it in less than an hour I didn’t watch the trailer, but after you do leave your comments below and let me know how it looks to you.
