The teaser trailer for Jason Reitman’s already much talked about Up In the Air has arrived following its debut at the Telluride Film Festival and the havoc it caused in my Oscar predictions as yesterday I updated my charts for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best Director based on the buzz surrounding this film.
Up In the Air stars George Clooney, Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick with Clooney playing Ryan Bingham, a corporate hatchet man who loves his life on the road but is forced to fight for his job when his company downsizes its travel budget. He is required to spend more time at home just as he is on the cusp of a goal he’s worked toward for years: reaching five million frequent flyer miles and just after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.
Check out the trailer below and look out as the film is rumored to hit theaters on December 4 and will next be screened at the Toronto Film Festival.
