Online promotion of films has become so silly. International trailers, TV Spots 1-10, extended trailers, red band trailer, international teaser trailers, sizzle reels, red band international teaser trailers… The list goes on and on and now there is a five minute trailer for The Day the Earth Stood Still, a film I am beginning to feel like I have already seen and I haven’t even watched this latest monstrosity of a trailer.
